Support. Empowerment. Love.
How We Help
Since My Breast Cancer Support was launched in 2005, we have helped over 5,000 local breast cancer patients.
We understand the physical, emotional, and financial challenges people face during their breast cancer journey. Our mission is to stand by their side, offering a helping hand, a compassionate ear, and a strong community of support. Together, we navigate this journey with resilience, hope, and commitment to make a positive impact in the lives of those we serve.
Our Programs
Hope Chests
Each cancer center has a HOPE CHEST filled with gas cards, grocery cards, department store gift cards, restaurant gift certificates, and movie passes. Items are distributed to patients whenever a staff member sees the need.
Family Support
Breast cancer affects the whole family. We provide books to help family members cope and are able to pay for special family nights out.
Online Support
The Thrivers Tribe is My Breast Cancer Support’s online safe space for NH & ME breast cancer survivors & thrivers! This support group is for advice, venting, sharing information & spreading LOVE!
Patient Assistance Grants
Too many patients struggle financially. These grants help pay for groceries, cleaning, repairs, heating fuel, utility bills, rent or mortgage, and more.
Wellness Programs & Travel Scholarships
When a patient is first diagnosed, each receives a New Patient Bag filled with comforting gifts. We also help them to participate in exercise/health programs. Additionally, we help patients attend breast cancer conferences and retreats.
